Ingredients
  

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 180 g of all-purpose flour
  • 100 g of fine sugar
  • 10 g of baking powder
  • 2 g of salt
  • 25 g of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 210 ml of vegetable milk almond, soy, etc.
  • 30 g of neutral vegetable oil such as sunflower oil
  • 5 ml of apple cider vinegar to activate the yeast
  • 5 ml of vanilla extract

Ingredients for the glaze:

  • 150 g of icing sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of vegetable milk
  • 30 g of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Ingredients for decoration:

  • 2 to 3 teaspoons of cocoa powder

Instructions
 

Preparing the Donuts:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a donut mold.
  • In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix the vegetable milk, vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract.
  • Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until you have a smooth dough.
  • Fill the donut molds three-quarters full and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Let the donuts cool before unmolding them.

Icing the Donuts:

  • Sift the icing sugar with the cocoa powder and cinnamon.
  • Gradually incorporate the vegetable milk until a smooth consistency is obtained.
  • Dip the cooled donuts in the glaze or use a spatula to apply it.

Decoration suggestions:

  • Sprinkle cocoa powder directly on the glaze. Don't wait for it to cool before sprinkling.
