Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, flax seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds (or other seeds), salt, and dried herbs.
  • Add the olive oil and water to the dry ingredients. Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  • On a flat surface, place a sheet of parchment paper and spread the dough on it. Cover with another sheet of parchment paper and roll out with a rolling pin until you get a thin layer.
  • Carefully remove the top sheet.
  • Pre-cut the dough into equal pieces using a knife or a pastry wheel, without cutting all the way through. This will make it easier to separate the crackers after baking.
  • Bake the crackers in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy. Watch them closely to prevent burning.
  • Allow the crackers to cool completely on the baking sheet. Once cooled, separate them along the scored lines.
  • Serve the seed crackers with hummus, guacamole, vegan cheese, or your favorite spread.
